April monthly review

This is going to be a slightly different monthly review for quite a few reasons really. I think with everything going on in the world right now our old norm is a new norm which we are having to try and accept at the moment which can be quite difficult and I think this why this monthly review is going to be slightly different.

I normally tell you about my personal achievements/adjustments but to be quite honest I can’t really go anywhere to do achieve anything or than being in my home and going for one daily walk a day. Through this lockdown all I’ve really been doing is staying home helping my mom with stuff around the house etc I’ll do a little explanation down below.

Right lets actually get into April’s monthly review before I carry on rambling on and we all know we don’t want that. In terms of my blog and social media’s they have actually been very successful this month and I feel like I have achieved a few different things that I hadn’t last month which is amazing.

What were this months goals –

Is it bad that I had completely forgot what this months goals were until I went onto twitter ? πŸ˜‚ I think this month I have been trying to focus more of my time and energy on daily and weekly goals instead of monthly because with being monthly goals so seem a little less achievable compared to daily and weekly goals. So let’s see how many of these goals I have actually achieved.

πŸ™ŒπŸ»1500 twitter followers

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 450 blog followers

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 500 Instagram followers

πŸ™ŒπŸ» keep on improving on Pinterest

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Achieve more amazing things with @stylingsocial_

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Get more clicks and saves on Pinterest

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Driving lessons hopefully

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Upload more guest posts

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Improve myself

What goals have I achieved this month ?

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 450 blog followers – Honestly last month when I set myself the goal of 450 blog followers I didn’t actually think I would achieve it but I’ve surprised myself and actually achieved 462 blog followers.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 500 Instagram followers – i knee that I was growing slowly with Instagram but I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to achieve another 100 followers in a month. But I have once again I think I’ve got something like 610 now which is amazing I’m absolutely loving having a bigger Instagram community.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Keep on improving with Pinterest – in terms of Pinterest I had a bit of a slow month with it but then my blog views from Pinterest have sky rocketed more than ever !! I think I’ve got something like 300 blog views just from Pinterest which is amazing !! I also think now I’ve found a few Pinterest which work for my content in terms of clicks and saves one git 112 clicks this month πŸ™ŒπŸ»

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Achieve more amazing things with @stylingsocial – I’m going to talk more about this in my personal achievements section but I’m definitely still achieving amazing things with Ellie.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Get more clicks and saves on Pinterest – like I said above the month started off really slow where with some pins I’d get like 0 impressions and then others I’d get 1000’s which I didn’t understand. Then the last two weeks or so I’m getting so many link clicks and saves and it’s helping my blog grow so much. Don’t underestimate Pinterest

πŸ™ŒπŸ» improve myself – one thing this lockdown has really helped is giving me more time fir myself, before life was a bit chaotic but now everything has slowed down I’ve been able to do more self-care and self-love and just generally have more time for me and my family.

What goals haven’t I achieved

If I’m being completely honest there are a few goals I haven’t achieved this month and that’s because some are scheduled in for next month so I’ve achieved it without actually achieving and others I can’t do because of lockdown.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 1500 twitter followers – we all know this isn’t going to happen to anytime soon I don’t even know why I set myself twitter goals anymore because twitter has become more of a standstill really. The day I achieve 1500 twitter followers we will have a party πŸ˜‚

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Driving lessons hopefully – the word in this one ‘hopefully’ explain all. I wasn’t able to have driving lessons this month due to lockdown and people who aren’t essential can’t work so I haven’t had driving lessons fir a couple of months now.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» Upload more guest posts – I have actually scheduled two guest posts in for May so I guess I have sort of achieved this one because it’s scheduled just need to upload the posts in May.

Posts I’ve uploads this month

The posts I have actually managed to upload this month I’ve actually really enjoyed writing, recently I have found a style of blog posts that I really enjoy writing plus you guys really seem to enjoy them.

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 20 self-discovery journal prompts

πŸ™ŒπŸ» What’s the difference between self-love and self-care

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 6 reasons why self-care isn’t selfish

πŸ™ŒπŸ» 4 top tips on how to stop comparing yourself to others

Statistics for the month

In terms of my statistics for this month I wouldn’t really say there is a specific social media platform that isn’t performing very well but I’m improving and growing on all of them really except for twitter but I think we all know that. At the moment I’m really enjoying Pinterest and Instagram isn’t it weird how much things can change if you asked me last year it would definitely not be Instagram or Pinterest because I didn’t really like them back then it was twitter πŸ˜‚

Pinterest –

Blog – 462 blog followers

Twitter – 1172 followers

Instagram – 612 followers

Personal achievements/adjustments –

( I’ve copied this paragraph from last months review because this month Is the same as last month really in terms of the lockdown and Coronavirus)

I haven’t really achieved anything massively this month as it’s been one of them really strange months and now the fact we’re suppose to isolating ourselves due to the dreaded C so yeah it’s been a bit of strange month. I’ve tried to pick out a couple of things even if they are small.

I said above that I was going to explain in a little bit more detail about @stylingsocial as I wanted to go into a bit more detail about than I could of done above. Every single month I seem to achieve more things out of my comfort zones that if you had asked me ages ago I definitely wouldn’t of achieved them or even contemplated the idea.

This month I had a few ideas of content that I wanted to post on my Instagram but it meant I needed to gain more confidence and overcome another one of comfort zones and actually do it. That was do a mini photoshoot for my Instagram, I haven’t really ever done a photoshoot or ever really taken pictures of myself before I’ve obviously took selfies but that’s about it. So I dragged my sister on a dog walk while the weather was nice and asked her to take a few photos for me and they turned out really well. Here is one of the photos.

I hope you have all had a good April and you’ve been able to achieve all of the things that you have wanted to !! I hope everyone is staying safe and well too πŸ’—

What have you achieved this month ? It doesn’t matter how big or how small it is just write it down in the comments section because I want to know !!
